This group went on to participate in the World Hip Hop Dance
Championship in 2012 at Las Vegas, where they reached the eighth
position among 43 countries. That was the first time India had
participated in this mega dance competition. Remo D'Souza's ABCD2, the
sequel to his original dance film, is inspired by the journey and true
events of this dance group. What's interesting is that Varun Dhawan is
playing the part of the leader of the group who, in real life, is
Suresh Mukund. Suresh today trains others in hip hop and is always on
the set of ABCD2. The film is currently being shot in Mumbai, from where
it moves on to shoot the dance competition in Vegas.
